Payment and Tax Policy

We use PayPal to process your credit card transaction. Your credit card information is kept secure and private.

Your credit card will be charged prior to shipping; however, we will not accept your order unless there is available stock to ship.

We accept the following credit cards:  Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.

Our prices are quoted in Canadian dollars, US dollars, and Euros.  Sorry, we do not accept any other currencies.

Orders shipped to Canadian addresses are subject to applicable Canadian taxes: GST/HST/PST as appropriate.

Orders shipped to the United States and Europe are not subject to Canadian taxes. However, most countries including the United States, levy taxes and duties on shipments arriving from outside the country.  The recipient of the shipment - that's you - is responsible for these additional duties and taxes.  Click here to learn more.

Shipping and Returns Policy

We ship via Canada Post.  For our Canadian customers, delivery times range from 2 to 9 days depending on how far away you are from our shipping depot in Toronto.  Also, if you place your order just before or during the week-end or a holiday, it might take an extra day to reach you.

For our customers in the United States, we ship via Canada Post who, in turn, pass your shipment along to the United States Postal Service. Together, they quote delivery times to major business centers in the US of between 6 to 12 business days. For Alaska , expect 11 to 13 business days and for Hawaii, expect 23 to 26 business days.  We do not ship to US protectorates or off-shore Armed Forces bases.

For our customers in Europe, we ship via Canada Post's Parcel service. Your parcel will be delivered by the postal service in your home country. Expect a delivery time between 6 to 10 business days for most destinations. We ship to most EU countries and Switzerland.

Shipping costs vary by destination and are determined when you place your order.

We test each product before shipping and we use secure packaging methods to protect the product during transit.

An unused product may be returned in its original packaging with all parts accounted for by first obtaining a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number by emailing rma@solar-rider.com  Include your receipt information and reason for requesting a return in your email.  All returns must be shipped to us in an insured, pre-paid package.  We do not accept returns of used product. 

Warranty

Twisted Road Cycle Gear Inc. warrants the Solar-RiderTM Solar Charger and Power Pack to be free from defects in material and workmanship and agrees to remedy any such defect through repair or replacement for a period of one year from the date of original purchase.

Please consult the Owner's Guide supplied with your Solar-RiderTM Solar Charger and Power Pack. The Owner's Guide outlines the specifics of the one year limited warranty applicable to our product.  If you require warranty service, e-mail us with a description of the problem, include your invoice/receipt number:  warranty@solar-rider.com
